Pendahuluan<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">Dalam beberapa kasus penggunaan sensor, isolasi elektrik (<em>electrical isolation<\/em>) diperlukan untuk memastikan kehandalan operasi sebuah sensor. Beberapa sensor, seperti sensor PH  dan sensor konduktivitas atau TDS  akan mengganggu satu sama lain dan tidak akan melakukan pengukuran dengan baik jika ditempatkan pada lingkungan yang sama dan tersambung pada catu daya (<em>power supply<\/em>) yang sama. Untuk menyelesaikan masalah tersebut diperlukan sebuah modul yang dapat mengisolasi sinyal analog dan daya untuk salah satu sensor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Selain sensor diatas, analog signal isolator dapat diaplikasikan sebagai proteksi mikrokontroler dalam aplikasi monitoring daya (power) listrik contohnya modul sensor arus dengan menggunakan CT (<em>current transformer<\/em>). Jika modul sensor CT <em>fail<\/em>, <em>short circuit, <\/em>dan lain sebagainya mikrokontroler akan terlindungi karena tidak memiliki hubungan elektrik secara langsung dengan sensor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Seperti yang telah dibahas diatas, analog signal isolator dapat ditambahkan pada rangkaian untuk mencegah gangguan yang bersifat elektrik (<em>electrical interference<\/em>). Modul ini dilengkapi dengan catu daya yang tersiolasi (<em>isolated power supply<\/em>) dengan nominal tegangan sebesar 5VDC, sehingga tidak perlu menambahkan catu daya dari luar (eksternal) untuk penggunaanya. Konektor pada modul ini juga kompatibel dengan modul DFRobot sehingga tidak perlu melakukan <em>soldering<\/em> dan <em>plug and play<\/em>. Rasio transmisi sinyal analog modul ini adalah 1:1, sehingga dapat meminimalisir galat (<em>error<\/em>) pembacaan dari sensor dan tidak perlu merubah program pada modul mikrokontroler.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"2-spesifikasi\" >2.
